Blog #10: Commitment

Image
Hello everyone welcome back to my blog, today I want to talk about something that bums me out a bit. It's been a few months since I've last talked about the art of crochet and sadly I haven't been able to get to any of the projects I wanted to do. The reason as to why I wasn't able to get to them is because of time, time for me is very limited thanks to college and my own personal life. A lot has been going on but I never stopped thinking about it. In fact, I am going to be committing to it this summer and after my finals week. I truly believe I can do it and can learn a lot in my time off from college, I even believe that it will even help me relax after a stressful week. While this may be hard to learn and you could argue that would add onto my stress but I know to take my time with the projects and that I don't have to get them all done within one sitting. I also understand and know it's going to be hard, so I am going into it with a readied mind and with so

Blog #9: That's it! I've Come Up With a New Recipe!

Image
Hello everyone welcome back! Like I mentioned in my Devil May Cry 3 blog I was going to post another tonight and here it is! Tonight I am going to be talking about a recipe book that I found that was entirely created by a group of fans of a game. It is the Final Fantasy XV (15) recipe book, the book contains 111 recipes straight from the game itself. You can download a free PDF file of the book at their website and it even has printing instructions if you want to have a book be made out of it. I personally would print it out to make a book because it comes with a fantastic piece of art of one of the characters Ignis!                                                                                       Source: Unofficial FFXV Community Cookbook  FFXV has a huge variety of food types that can most likely peak your interest, from things like Toasty Rice Balls, Garulessandwich, Green Soup Curry, and much much more! If you don't like the sound of the ones I have listed, I am sure ther

Blog # 8: Devils Can Cry

Image
Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good day today, I have two blogs for you today but I will be posting the second blog later tonight. Let's get started on the topic we are going to talk today. I wrote a blog about a game called Devil May Cry 1, a game franchise I am very passionate about. In that blog I left out a piece of detail of what happens between two characters, Dante and Vergil. What even happened between those two? Well that's what I am going to get into today. Dante and Vergil are twin brothers and sons of a legendary dark knight Sparda. The two grew up wanting to become like their father, so they trained extensively with swords. When the young Sparda twins grew up, they were given their own demonic weapons from their father. Dante was given the Rebellion a longsword that Sparda wielded and Vergil was given the Yamato a katana, another weapon Sparda wielded  in battle.    The Yamato     The Rebellion These weapons became the trade mark of Dante and Vergil, both

Entry # 7: Fresh Food

Image
Hello everyone welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to be talking a movie and asking myself some questions and answering them. As for what the movie is, it is called Fresh. A movie about the food industry with our farmers and it goes into details on their farm life and how the industry runs. Now I ask myself, what is the purpose of this film? Well I feel the purpose of this film is to have you really think deeply on the food you are buying. I guarantee a lot of people haven't put much thought into what you are buying and where it's coming from, what are they feeding the animals? There was a spot in the movie that really shocked me, a farmer named Russ Kremer was tending to his pigs one day and got stabbed by one of his pigs with it's tusks. Russ ignored the injury because of him being a quote "farmer boy." After a few weeks he had to go to the hospital because the wound got infected badly and if he didn't go at that moment he went, he could've lost h

Blog #6 Can a Devil Cry?

Image
Hello everyone, today I will be talking about the popular video game series Devil May Cry that is made by Capcom. I mentioned Devil May Cry in the blog I briefly talked about Resident Evil 4. Devil May Cry or as I will call it for simplicity sake, DMC was a prototype of RE4 but became it's own thing. DMC is a hack and slash game where you fight enemies or as they're known as in game, demons in stylish ways instead of you quickly killing enemies. DMC 1 despite it's age is a fantastic game, sure the graphics aren't the greatest anymore but they have a classic Capcom charm that fills you with wonder as you explore this island full of demons and a castle with many secrets. You can safely assume I love DMC 1 and I think it's one of the best old games you can play and my only complaint with the game is some of the bosses and some of the enemies as they are really annoying to deal with. Why are they annoying to deal with? Well, let me explain and show an example.   source

Blog #5 Let the Mayhem begin!

Image
Hello welcome back to my blog, like I mentioned in my last one. I was going to post another one today and what I have for you is a rhetorical analysis of an Allstate commercial. Specifically the Tailgater Mayhem ad . I'm going to try my best to analyze this ad and try to break it down so we can get a better understanding of what makes this ad successful and funny. Lets start off with the actor, the main lead of this ad.  The ad starts of  with a guy who is wearing a suit with blue stripes painted on his cheeks with a bandaged, he reminds me of what an 80's action star would look like. He is seen driving a car getting ready to tailgate a poor innocent person because tailgating gets him ready for football. The main actor has this charm that draws me in and I can't fully explain it, maybe its his cool and calm voice with his mischievous laugh or maybe its the joke he made in the beginning of the video. I've seen a couple of these ads and now every time I see him, I know

Blog #4 A Remake Done Right

Image
Hello! Welcome back to my blog, today I decided to talk about something involving technology as it has been a while since I last talked about it. This blog will be talking about a new video game that was released a few days ago and that game is, Resident Evil 4 Remake. The original Resident Evil 4 came out in 2005 on the GameCube first then later PlayStation 2. You may be asking, what is Resident Evil? Resident Evil is a survival horror franchise made by Capcom, a company located in Japan. Resident Evil or as it is known in Japan as, Biohazard was first created in 1996 for the PlayStation. As time went on, more Resident Evil games were made as the series grew in size. Capcom wanted to innovate the Resident Evil formula for their 4th game in the series and RE4 was their testing grounds. RE4 went through a lot of changes in it's early stages in life, originally RE4 was supposed to be where you play as Tony Redgrave, a human with super strength and speed who dawned a red and black at
