Blog #9: That's it! I've Come Up With a New Recipe!

Hello everyone welcome back! Like I mentioned in my Devil May Cry 3 blog I was going to post another tonight and here it is! Tonight I am going to be talking about a recipe book that I found that was entirely created by a group of fans of a game. It is the Final Fantasy XV (15) recipe book, the book contains 111 recipes straight from the game itself. You can download a free PDF file of the book at their website and it even has printing instructions if you want to have a book be made out of it. I personally would print it out to make a book because it comes with a fantastic piece of art of one of the characters Ignis!

                                                                                    Source: Unofficial FFXV Community Cookbook

FFXV has a huge variety of food types that can most likely peak your interest, from things like Toasty Rice Balls, Garulessandwich, Green Soup Curry, and much much more! If you don't like the sound of the ones I have listed, I am sure there is something that might peak your interest and might even get you to try new things! I know there's already a bunch of things I want to try like Croaker In Brown Sauce, Golden Egg Galette, Pit Crew's Meat Wraps, and  Nebula Salmon Teriyaki. I am a huge meat lover but I've always enjoyed other types of food a lot as well. Those 4 that I listed are the first things that caught my eye. Now why did people create this? Well as I mentioned before, this cookbook was made entirely by fans of the game. FFXV is a hit JRPG developed by Square Enix. Final Fantasy XV was the first to my knowledge that allowed you gather recourses to make food and gather recipes to make even more food. As to why the book and this blog has "That's it!" in it's title is because anytime you discover a new recipe, Ignis (the one who is on the cover) exclaims "That's it! I've come up with a new recipeh!" Then when you go out to camp, you can now make the new recipe he has made if you have the ingredients and if and when you do have the ingredients, he cooks up the dish for you and the other guys that are companied with you. In game you will look at the meals and just wish you can eat them as the game makes them so delicious and mouthwatering looking. Now you can thanks to 50+ fans for making these dishes come to life!

Tomalley-Filled Dumplings

Stacked Ham Sandwich

Croaker in Brown Sauce

These 3 are all from the book and I feel they give a good picture of how much variety there is in this cooking book. I seriously recommend going out of your way, downloading it from their page and trying out all of these different types of meals and I personally will be having a blast going through each meal and appetizer. This blog is a lot shorter than my previous one but I wanted it to be a brief and fun one. I hope you have enjoyed this and possibly have found a new book. It is free so it wouldn't hurt to try it out right? Thank you for reading! I will see you all next time!
