Blog #5 Let the Mayhem begin!

Image
Hello welcome back to my blog, like I mentioned in my last one. I was going to post another one today and what I have for you is a rhetorical analysis of an Allstate commercial. Specifically the Tailgater Mayhem ad . I'm going to try my best to analyze this ad and try to break it down so we can get a better understanding of what makes this ad successful and funny. Lets start off with the actor, the main lead of this ad.  The ad starts of  with a guy who is wearing a suit with blue stripes painted on his cheeks with a bandaged, he reminds me of what an 80's action star would look like. He is seen driving a car getting ready to tailgate a poor innocent person because tailgating gets him ready for football. The main actor has this charm that draws me in and I can't fully explain it, maybe its his cool and calm voice with his mischievous laugh or maybe its the joke he made in the beginning of the video. RE4 went through a lot of changes in it's early stages in life, originally RE4 was supposed to be where you play as Tony Redgrave, a human with super strength and speed who dawned a red and black at

Why am I going to explain and describe my experience with Mentos? Well I feel this will be a good time to work on my ability to describe how something is to show instead of telling you what how it feels exactly. I hope you all enjoy this and I hope you are able to feel the same experience I had. Maybe you'll have a mint with me after this.   source: Amazon     When I take a bite, I feel the crack of what feels like a hard shell of a peanut splitting into multiple pieces. The further I chew, the shell grows smaller into what now feels like tiny rocks mixed with the fresh cool air of an icy mountain that flows through my mouth and my breath. Now the feeling of tiny sharp rocks are gone, all that remains is the cold air and a soft chewy cohesive substance. I begin to feel my body relax and slip into a
