Entry #3 Mint: Something Fresh
Hello again! I have an interesting entry for you today, I am going to be describing to you the experience I get when I eat a mint. As for the mint, I chose "Mentos Gum." Why am I going to explain and describe my experience with Mentos? Well I feel this will be a good time to work on my ability to describe how something is to show instead of telling you what how it feels exactly. I hope you all enjoy this and I hope you are able to feel the same experience I had. Maybe you'll have a mint with me after this.
When I take a bite, I feel the crack of what feels like a hard shell of a peanut splitting into multiple pieces. The further I chew, the shell grows smaller into what now feels like tiny rocks mixed with the fresh cool air of an icy mountain that flows through my mouth and my breath. Now the feeling of tiny sharp rocks are gone, all that remains is the cold air and a soft chewy cohesive substance. I begin to feel my body relax and slip into a focused state, wanting to take deeper breaths so I can continue to feel that cold air in my throat while I work. Ever sip of water feels as if I am drinking straight from the Himalayan Mountains, sadly as I continue to chew and drink water. The cold air, slowly but surely disappears and the taste of the Himalayan Mountains are gone as well. I am filled with this feeling of satisfaction and happiness that I get to experience this feeling time and time again when I decide to have more.

Hello. I enjoyed reading your blog. You took me to a place I didn't think would happen after reading your description. You used the right words to describe the feeling you get.
ReplyDeleteHi, I enjoyed your blog. I feel as if you described how it really feels when you eat a mint. Great job.
ReplyDeleteHey Tristan!
ReplyDeleteYou are right on point with the description of this mint. The addition of the picture is amazing! Great thinking! I admire your great description, try going to back to assignment to fix the wording we are not allowed to use. Other than that, great job!
